**What you’ll be doing...**:
In this role as a key member in the Strategy & Transformation Office, you'll be managing programs around location strategy devised to deliver the right work from the right location. You'll be supporting VGS strategy by implementing the Baseline, guiding principles, governance structure & reporting frameworks. You will also be an integral part of the strategy execution and operations process from intake to execution and enablement as part of the location strategy operating model.
- Understanding the future operating model for Verizon Global Services and the priorities that drive the VGS location strategy.
- Handling scope definition, and execution of strategic and operational business transformation initiatives aimed at increasing revenue, reducing expenses, enhancing business efficiency, improving customer experience, and driving Verizon Global Services to become a best-in-class organization.
- Handling for the end-to-end demand management process (intake requisition to commencing ramp up).
- Leveraging critical thinking & sharp problem-solving skills (e.g., data-backed analysis, data science tools, hypothesis-driven approach, research & strategy frameworks) to support the design & execution of new solutions.
- Serving as an effective change agent utilizing stakeholder analysis and change management techniques.
- Understanding business challenges and develop and prioritize solutions to make significant impacts to process, experience and cost savings.
- Crafting and delivering actionable recommendations to C-Suite and other senior leadership through data-driven analysis, visualization for executive decision making, and concise storytelling.
- Being a liaison between business units on projects that have a multi-organization or business unit scope.
- Anticipating and work towards mitigating risks to project execution or stakeholder engagement.
- Managing large cross-functional projects by developing strategy, initiatives, work plans, timelines, and goals to ensure stakeholders and VGS delivers on commitments.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

**What we’re looking for...**:
You’ll need to have:

- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in supporting growth stories of new teams - by managing the demand, setting up frameworks & processes to support growth
- Experience in creating program plans, and crafting presentations for senior executives.
- Experience in working in a matrix organization and to drive results at all levels, regardless of reporting structures.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

- Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration/ Management studies.
- Experience in a role responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic plan for an organization or business unit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable in working up and across the organization.
- Ability to manage complex programs and drive cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and influence co-workers while fostering strong working relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, meet deadlines, and simultaneously work on multiple projects.
- Experience in working across all levels of an organization, leveraging organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to voice well-informed, dissenting opinions, yet always treat others and their views with respect.
