Must-Have**

  • Strong understanding of data replication from SAP ECC to SAP HANA DB or SAP Datasphere via SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) and aware of SLT Data provisioning options.
  • Experience / Understanding SLT integration with various systems like ECC, SAP BTP or AWS
  • Hands-on SLT configuration of solution and specific data migrations within SLT. SLT performance optimization concepts (reading type, master job, via parallel loads etc.,)
  • Experience in resolving SLT related issues (SLT Replication, Job Monitoring, Load Failure, Error Resolution and Data Reconciliation) by debugging execution errors using trace, monitor, and error logs.
  • Experience on SQL Queries for updating & retrieving Data from DB tables
  • Understanding of transformation rules (Table settings/Rule assignments/Templates)
  • Experience with Data Management and Master Data Management related technologies
  • Good knowledge on various SAP SLT replication methodologies using all the related transactions and monitoring the system for Health check, table statistics etc.
  • Ability to understand complex issues in SLT or integration and resolve it
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new functionality/technology quickly; Ability to explain technical information to technical or business stakeholders
  • Sound Analytical and problem solving skills

Good-to-Have

  • Understanding of Understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) previously known as SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) technologies and architecture.
  • Experience in SAP ABAP coding would be added advantage.
  • Exposure to SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics on Cloud
  • Experience in handing tables related to SAP Modules PM, MM, QM, FI, HR


Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  • Responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP SLT solutions for real-time data replication and synchronization of SAP data in BTP
  • Design and implementation of data replication strategies.
  • Integration of SAP SLT with SAP ECC system, SAP BTP and AWS Datalake.
  • Optimize SAP SLT performance to improve data replication
  • Implement data governance policies to maintain data integrity
  • Contribute to the development, delivery and maintenance of business intelligence solutions based on the latest SAP technology
  • Proposes, robust solution to meet the functional needs
  • Builds professional relationships with team members and clients, to ensure delivery of proposed solutions.
