Medical Equipment Sales Person

**Job Summary**:
The Medical Equipment Salesperson is responsible for promoting and selling medical equipment to healthcare professionals and institutions. This role involves understanding customer needs, demonstrating product benefits, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Salesperson will also be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients and developing new business opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales and Marketing**:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the medical equipment sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and medical facility administrators.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- **Customer Service**:
- Address customer inquiries, provide technical information, and resolve any issues or concerns related to the products.
- Offer post-sales support, including installation assistance and training for new equipment.
- **Market Analysis**:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the company on product performance and customer preferences.
- **Sales Administration**:
- Prepare and process sales orders, including generating quotes and managing contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- **Compliance**:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and standards in the medical equipment industry.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements to provide informed recommendations to clients.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the medical equipment or healthcare sector.
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical products.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- **Certifications**: Sales or industry-specific certifications may be preferred or required.
