Area Sales Executive

**Job description**
As a Sales Executive for an advertising company, your main objective is to drive revenue growth by selling advertising solutions to clients. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, understanding their advertising needs, and presenting them with suitable advertising options that align with their goals and budget.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prospect and generate leads: Identify and research potential clients in the target market. Utilize various sources such as online platforms, industry directories, and networking events to identify and connect with potential leads.
- Conduct client needs analysis: Engage with clients to understand their advertising goals, target audience, budget, and overall marketing strategy. Analyse their requirements and recommend appropriate advertising solutions.
- Present and pitch advertising solutions: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of advertising options offered by your company. Effectively communicate the value proposition and unique selling points to persuade clients to choose your advertising solutions.
- Negotiate contracts: Collaborate with clients to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of advertising contracts. Address any concerns or objections raised by clients and work towards finding mutually beneficial agreements.
- Relationship building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. Regularly follow up with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Coordinate with the creative team, account managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and delivery of advertising campaigns. Communicate client requirements, campaign objectives, and any specific instructions to the internal teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the advertising industry. Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities to differentiate your company's offerings.
- Achieve sales targets: Set and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) as established by the company. Monitor and report on sales metrics, such as revenue generated, client acquisition, and conversion rates.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Sales experience: Proven track record in sales, **preferably in the advertising or media industry.** Experience in consultative selling and dealing with diverse clients is desirable.
- Communication and presentation skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas, build rapport, and deliver persuasive presentations.
- Customer-focused approach: Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand and meet clients' needs. Demonstrate a consultative approach and the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Negotiation and closing skills: Proficient in negotiation techniques to secure deals and close contracts. Ability to handle objections and find win-win solutions.
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with advertising industry trends, various advertising channels such as print, online, television and radio.
- Organizational and time management skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Team collaboration: Effective collaboration skills to work with internal teams, including creative and account management teams, to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Self-motivation and resilience: Driven and self-motivated to achieve sales targets and overcome challenges. Resilient in the face of rejection and able to persist in pursuing opportunities.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
