This Internship is with the Bangalore City Team to design engagement initiatives that enable Teach For India Alumni to stay connected with each other and the organization. The scope of work will also include logístical support in executing these initiatives regionally. The intern will play a crucial role in designing the newsletter, conducting interviews, documenting, and analyzing/synthesizing the data on the impact of such initiatives on Alumni engagement. The duration of the internship will be a period of **3 months**.

**Team Overview**:
Bengaluru, with its 3000 plus students across 95 classrooms in 32 schools, is a relatively newer city that Teach For India has made a foray in. Going into phase 4 of TFI and the 7th year of City Operations, the Bengaluru team would allow you to play a part in shaping Teach For India's future in the city as we expand our impact to children within and beyond our classrooms. Apart from a high Alumni to Fellow ratio (120 Fellows to 450+ Alumni), the rich ecosystem is a great opportunity for collaboration and learning. The City team drives partnerships with school authorities who become an integral branch of Teach For India as stakeholders. The Alumni team creates and leverages a connected network of partner alumni to build and sustain the movement in the city. It forms the foundation of the growth and success of the Fellows and helps them metamorphose into future leaders of the country.

**Responsibilities**:
**Support the NLC - Manager (and SMRP as when required) in**:

- Designing engagement initiatives that ensure Teach For India Alumni stay connected with each other and the organization
- Coordinating recurring Alumni virtual events to ensure maximum participation
- Conducting participant interviews to assess the health of the Alumni movement
- Documenting, analyzing, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data on Alumni Engagement
- Analyzing research findings and creating presentations, dashboards, models, infographics, and other items to support effective decision-making.

**Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations**:

- A first principle thinker who is curious and open to learn
- Good research skills (primary and secondary)
- Strong data and analytical skills (excellent Excel skills, data/evidence gathering, analysis and interpretation, hypotheses framing and validation) and research capabilities
- Good oral and written english communication skills
- Rigor and attention to detail
- Time management and flexibility to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong project management skills and ability to take complete ownership of projects
