Practice Area Coordinator

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
BCG’s Knowledge Team (KT) is a crucial pillar across BCG’s roughly twenty global Industry and Functional Practice businesses. KT is a billable, expertise-based, professional services organization. KT plays diverse roles ranging from being staffed in client case teams alongside consulting and other professional services staff to developing and managing IP specific to the active topic or industry sector-based businesses.
BCG’s Knowledge Team includes a global team focused on Practice Areas and select Geographic markets. As a Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) role for the Geo KT & leadership, you will ensure effective, efficient operations for the Geo Knowledge Team’s leadership team through the management of relevant processes, systems and projects. The primary role of this position is to support the Geo KT managers and KBDs, in the direction of the practice, in particular in helping them set up and manage the Geo KTs in SEA, India and Latam (including the management of the day-to-day operations and all the processes that this involves), manage the practice, ensure consistent internal communication of content, and supporting regional meeting organization and regional practice activities as needed. You will coordinate people affiliation and development activities, including organizing and executing internal meetings and events.
Among your responsibilities, you will:
- Conduct analyses and prepare performance reports (revenue reporting, capacity management and reporting, budget and investment tracking, collection of status updates on plans, etc.)-
- Support the leadership team with the preparation of materials for calls and meetings, as well as with the collection of input from stakeholders e.g. for the annual planning process for content and recruitment-
- Support people affiliation through the organization and execution of meetings and training and act as a point of contact for members across the PA-
- Liaison with local CT office for L&D, PTOs, Affiliation and other related activities-
- Help coordinate and execute different marketing and communication efforts, in coordination with KTs and Leads-
- Help navigate the practice network, e.g. by maintaining Navigator landing pages, credentials and other reference materials, and by providing ongoing ad-hoc support to the leadership group as needed-
- Support in managing our databases and contracts and work with the local and global procurement teams**YOU'RE GOOD AT**:
Independent problem solving, with a high degree of service orientation, developing creative solutions and implementing improvements- Accurately providing financial and business analysis- Helping others navigate the practice network and supporting the onboarding of team members- Building a solid network by leveraging a robust understanding of the Geo’s business- Managing work in a highly dynamic and matrixed environment with concurrent & competing priorities
**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:
2-4+ years of relevant experience- Bachelor’s degree- Demonstrated strong organizational, project management and teaming skills- Good analytical skills (e.g. for business reporting and other analytical tasks) and a structured way of thinking- Self-starter with a can-do attitude; a fast learner who is good at prioritizing-
- Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Tableau skills would be appreciated, too, but not mandatory)
**YOU'LL WORK WITH**:
You will coordinate closely with the Knowledge Business Directors, Geo KT Managers, and the Business Services team, alongside other Practice Area Coordinators within and across others.
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
Practice Area Management & Operations team members keep BCG’s industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently.
