**The Ahimsa Fellowship is India's first fellowship programme of its kind that endeavours to build a network of trained animal protection leaders across the length and breadth of India.**

**We are looking for someone to help manage and coordinate this programme.**

**Position Overview**:
The Programme Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the effective execution and coordination of activities within the Ahimsa Fellowship. This individual will be responsible for managing various aspects of the fellowship programme, ensuring its smooth operation, and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for fellows. The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the Fellowship Manager, Fellows, mentors, and other stakeholders to facilitate impactful experiences and outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- _**Fellowship Programme Management**:_
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Ahimsa Fellowship.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Ahimsa Fellowship's goals, objectives, and activities.
- Coordinate logistics for fellowship events, workshops, meetings, and other programme activities including liaising with vendors.
- Learning digital and other methodologies and tools to manage the Fellowship, including tools for programme monitoring & evaluation.
- Assist in the development of course curriculum and training modules (print/audio/visual) customised to the needs of the Ahimsa Fellowship.
- Quarter-wise programme planning efforts in terms of theme/agenda of each quarter's project activities, programme milestones etc.
- _**Communication and Outreach**:_
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Ahimsa Fellows, mentors, and external partners.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between all stakeholders involved in the Ahimsa Fellowship.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing and outreach strategies to attract potential fellows and engage with the broader community as and when required.
- _**Fellow Support and Development**:_
- Provide guidance and support to Fellows throughout their fellowship experience.
- Coordinate mentorship opportunities and facilitate connections between Fellows and mentors.
- Monitor Fellows' progress, address challenges, and assist in providing resources to enhance their professional and personal development.
- _**Data Management and Reporting**:_
- Maintain accurate records of Fellowship activities, including participant data, evaluations, and outcomes.
- Generate regular reports on programme metrics, activities, accomplishments, and areas for improvement.
- Utilise data insights to assess program effectiveness and assist in decision-making processes.
- Compiling press coverage and other necessary data related to the Ahimsa Fellowship.
- _**Collaboration and Partnerships**:_
- Cultivate relationships with relevant organisations, institutions, and stakeholders to expand opportunities for Ahimsa Fellows.
- Seek opportunities for collaboration, and resource sharing to support the sustainability and growth of the Fellowship.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in programme coordination, project management, or related roles.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Creative and innovative mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving programme needs and priorities.
