Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
To partner with and support the Risk Identification and Controls Assurance Teams and the broader Chief Controls Office to develop non-financial risk data standards, databases, tools, and reports that facilitate the on-going identification and assessment of risk within business and functions processes and the effectiveness of controls in mitigating those risks.

What will you be doing?
- Define, create, and maintain a risk inventory that supports the on-going identification, assessment, reporting and escalation of in-scope risks.
- Develop a loss data store that supports the assessment of risks in the risk inventory.
- Partner with third parties (ACIN) to benchmark control data and include the results of that benchmarking in the controls inventory and evaluation processes.
- Partner with the Control Evaluation & Assurance Teams to create a controls design testing results inventory that identifies triggers that feed to the control assurance plan.
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation and share lessons learned and best practice with other Controls Teams

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Some experience of working in or within a risk or control type role / team, ability to demonstrate a risk management mindset.
- Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), including knowledge of relational databases
- Basic Project Management skills
- Strong Excel skills including extensive experience in managing large quantities of data, pivots, formulas, Vlookup
- Able to translate broader requirements into specific deliverables.
- General knowledge / appreciation of IB Markets and Banking processes and activities, business lines and asset classes and products.
- Some previous knowledge or experience of designing or implementing relational databases, forms, workflow / task management or Tableau dashboards.
- Degree level (or equivalent) educational qualification
