We are seeking to hire Import Sales Manager for a Freight Forwarding Industry in Ahmedabad.

1. Lead and supervise the import sales team within the freight forwarding division, overseeing their daily activities and performance.

2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive import freight forwarding revenue growth and achieve business objectives.

3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and establishing relationships with potential import clients, including manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

4. Manage and nurture existing client accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.

5. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure efficient import logistics, timely delivery, and quality service for clients.

6. Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

7. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and customized import logistics solutions to clients, addressing their specific requirements.

8. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and suppliers to optimize profitability and ensure compliance with company policies.

9. Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

10. Stay abreast of import regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance requirements to ensure adherence and minimize risks.

11. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the sales team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field (preferred).

2. Proven experience in sales management within the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on SEA FREIGHT import services.

3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.

4. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer-centric approach.

5. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.

6. In-depth knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.

7. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

9. Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
