Thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
- Take the lead to complete all the accounting transactions and make the data available on Real team basis from ERP ( Tally Prime /SAP )System.
- Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
- Provide Satisfactory training to new and existing staff as needed from time to time on various updation in CA 2013, INDAS, GST etc.
- Respond to inquiries from the CFO regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like
- Work with direct reportees to achieve goals and objectives ,monitor and advise on the progress.
- Overall Scrutiny of Accounting Records and ensuring accounting on a regular basis.
- Ensure Compliance of Tax Audit, Internal & Statutory audits
- Knowledge of all the IGAAP and IND AS Accounting Standards mandatorily
- Ensure Mandatory reporting of all monthly financial information by 5th to 10th of the following month(Parent Company, Subsidiary and Sister concerns)
- Ensure Mandatory reporting of all monthly financial information by 5th to 10th of the following month(Subsidiary Companies).
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing processes
- Work with the retained Statutory & Internal audit firms to ensure a clean and timely year end audit
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met mandatorily.
- Obtaining and verification of Stock Valuation workings done by other team members.
- Ensuring the compliance with E-Tds Returns done by Tax Dept.
- Ensuring the compliance with all Tax rules ( Direct and Indirect Tax ) required at our Subsidiary Locations & at Parent Company with no non-compliances at all
- Working/Controlling the status of TDS certificates issued and received.
- Ensuring /Controlling the filing of Vat/GST Return for all the relevant locations.
- Inspection and Verification of all Capex Invoices and FAR and Capex Advances (Incl. CWIP and Intangibles).
- Timely and accurate provisioning of expenses with absolutely NO SURPRISES at all.
- Compliance with Internal Financial Controls ( IFC) rule book in ERP and non-ERP areas.
- Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data.
- Ensure proper and accurate accounting of Fixed Assets acquisitions and updation of FAR on timely basis ( tally and FAMS )
- Detailed understanding of the Fixed Assets acquired with all the relevant supporting
- MIS reports on the Fixed Assets on Monthly Basis-Opening Bal, Additions Done, Deletions and Closing Bal.,CWIP ,Intangible with Details of each line item
