Duties
The incumbent is required to bring sensitive cases to the attention of the NIV Supervisory Visa Specialist and NIV Chief. Inputs the relevant data into the system, verifies SEVIS, PIMS records and IACT transmissions whenever applicable. Captures photographs for IWP/Drop box cases and loads referral and priority appointment cases that often involve high level contracts. Identifies to glitches in NIV software and suggest technical improvement to enhance the software by submitting regular requests to CA support desk and liaising with KCC on complex petition based PIMS verifications and discrepancies. Spot checks the team performance to ensure data entry accuracy. Plans and updates the LE staff weekly roster for translations, window 6 and other related tasks in consent with NIV Supervisory Visa Specialist and maintains the required stock of window handouts.
Incumbent also process Interview Waiver-IW and Drop Box-DB submissions from Global Support Strategy - GSS at Visa Application Center-VAC and keep them ready for adjudications. Loads cases to NOV system by closely checking previous visa/validity/expired dates, scan photos and reusing of biometrics in NIV system for accuracy with critical fields and annotations. Runs the IACT clearance and coordinates with Fraud Prevention Unit-FPU on minor Drop Box Age waiver cases for further review. Actively looks for any fraud indicators, including anomalies in information, lost passport or valid U.S. Visa information and refers the case to the respective officer in charge for further investigation.
Qualifications and Evaluations
**Requirements**:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years of progressively responsible work involving customer service and/or work related to complex regulatory material along with extensive public contact.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of USG polices relating to the area of consular-visa operations and host country policies related to the area of immigration is required. Working knowledge of NIV, GSS ATLAS software and Consolidated Consular Database (CCD) is required. Authoritative knowledge of Consular procedures including 9 FAM SOPs and system related data management.

LANGUAGE: Level IV in English and Level III in Hindi/Telugu/Odiya - This may be tested
