**Overview**:
As a Business Development Manager specializing in the Generic Medicine Division, you will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying opportunities, and establishing strategic partnerships within the generic pharmaceutical market. Your role will focus on expanding market share, increasing product visibility, and driving revenue through the promotion and distribution of generic pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
**1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development**:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities within the generic medicine segment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand the company’s presence in existing markets.
- Analyze market dynamics, pricing strategies, and regulatory landscapes to devise effective business strategies.
**2. Business Expansion and Relationship Building**:
- Establish and nurture relationships with wholesalers, distributors, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions to drive product distribution.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, agreements, and partnerships to expand the company’s product reach and market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product availability and distribution channels.
**3. Product Promotion and Marketing**:
- Develop marketing strategies and promotional campaigns specific to generic pharmaceutical products.
- Create compelling sales materials, presentations, and product documentation to support sales efforts.
- Organize and participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote products and network with potential partners.
**4. Sales Management and Performance Tracking**:
- Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team, guiding and motivating them to achieve objectives.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress against set goals.
- Implement strategies to address sales challenges and optimize sales processes for better efficiency.
**5. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight**:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements for generic pharmaceutical products.
- Stay updated with changes in regulations and industry practices, and implement necessary compliance measures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5 years of proven experience in business development within the generic pharmaceutical sector.
- Thorough understanding of generic pharmaceutical products, market dynamics, and distribution channels.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and devise strategic plans.
- Leadership capabilities to guide and inspire sales teams.
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and addressing market challenges.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹1,200,000.00 per year
