Kochi, India GVR Business Transforms Full time

We are looking forward for a SQL database administrator with **Minimum 5 years’ **experience in managing multiple SQL servers, Database Performance, Maintenance and Development.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Install and configure new Microsoft SQL Server instances, including Always On availability groups and failover clustering.
- Check all statistics related to memory, locks, I/O, database response time, wait events, top sessions, and background processes
- Create indexes to achieve critical dataset response time for time sensitive reports.
- Develop documentation and training of routine database administration tasks.

**REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS**
- Knowledge in Database concepts, MS SQL server architecture and replication.
- Database management for export, import and mass data loads, including backups, recovery, and maintenance.
- Monitoring and resolving data lock/blocking issues.
- Experience in linked servers.
- Troubleshooting knowledge of MS SQL servers.
- DBCC commands knowledge.
- T-SQL Programming Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Team player with good communication & interpersonal skills.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Microsoft SQL Server DBA
- Microsoft Azure
- SSIS / SSAS / SSRS /Power BI
- Data Warehousing

Job Location
- KOCHI, Kerala

**Salary
- 6 to 8 LPA**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
