As a receptionist at our ed-tech startup, you will be responsible for a range of administrative and front desk duties to ensure the smooth operation of our office. You will be the face of our organization and will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive first impression for all visitors.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Answering and Directing Calls**: Manage incoming calls, route them to the appropriate team members, and provide accurate information or assistance.
**Managing the Front Desk**: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area, including managing sign-in sheets, visitor badges, and other related materials.
**Scheduling**: Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and appointments for team members and visitors.
**Mail and Package Handling**: Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages, and coordinate courier services as needed.
**Office Supplies**: Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the office is well-stocked.
**Visitor Access**: Manage access to the office by ensuring visitors sign in, receive visitor badges, and follow security protocols.
**Assisting with Administrative Tasks**: Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
**Assisting with Event Coordination**: Help plan and coordinate company events, workshops, and meetings held on-site.
**Maintaining Visitor Records**: Maintain a record of visitor information, including contact details, purpose of visit, and other relevant data.
**Assisting with Travel Arrangements**: Support team members with travel bookings and arrangements when required.
**Qualifications**:
- **At least 1-2 Years of experience as an office Administrator/Receptionist.**:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude in a fast-paced startup environment.
