Air Export Coordinator

Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Air Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an Air Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the exportation process of goods via air transportation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth and efficient export operations.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Coordinate all aspects of air export shipments, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
2. Liaise with clients to gather necessary shipment details, provide quotes, and ensure accurate documentation.
3. Arrange transportation with airlines and freight forwarders, negotiating rates and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
4. Prepare and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations, to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
5. Communicate with carriers, agents, and other relevant parties to track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export regulations, tariff schedules, and international trade agreements.
7. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving problems, and providing status updates on shipments.
8. Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, logistics, and finance, to coordinate shipment schedules and ensure timely processing of orders.
9. Monitor shipment milestones and update internal systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of shipment statuses.
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices to streamline export operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in air export coordination or freight forwarding.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, including customs procedures, export controls, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly resolve issues to ensure timely shipment delivery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
