**Job Title: Company Secretary**
**Location: Kolkata**
Experience: Minimum 1 year
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in preparing and circulating Board and Committee papers, minutes, and resolutions
- Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and filings
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including the annual general meeting
- Ensure compliance with company law, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including shareholders and regulatory bodies
- Provide guidance on corporate governance best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and finance
**Requirements**:
- Professional qualification in company secretarial practice (e.g., ICSA, ACIS)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Company Secretary or in a related field
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
- Strong understanding of company law and corporate governance
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in a listed company or a large organization
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
