Assistant Economist, R&A Hub

**What this job involves**:
Source data on the macro
- and socio-economic environment across major cities around the Globe, such as economic performance, demographics, monetary and fiscal policy, and financial markets.
Use new data and data sources to better conduct economic analysis and create new insights.
Support the Chief Economist with data analysis and creating presentation materials.
Produce economic analysis, reports, articles, and presentations for use across the JLL business.
Respond to ad hoc requests from across the business for data, forecasts, and presentation content.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in economics. Ideally a master’s degree in economics.

**Well-developed Economist skillset**: research; analysis; data organisation; written and verbal presentation of arguments.
Understanding of economic concepts and data, data sources and their limitations.
Ability to use standard economic statistical analytical techniques.
Curiosity
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to use own initiative.
Experience with Thomson Reuters’ Datastream, Macrobond, Bloomberg preferred but not essential.
Real Estate experience is preferred; otherwise, a strong interest in the sector is required.
