**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Statutory Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations related to the construction and manufacturing industries.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to handle inspections, audits, and compliance-related issues.
- Maintain and update records of licenses, permits, and certifications.
- Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company’s compliance practices are current.
- **Payroll Compliance**:
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in payroll processing in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Handle payroll queries and discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery.
- Manage employee records related to payroll, including tax forms, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, and other statutory payroll requirements.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Manage day-to-day administrative functions, including office supplies, equipment maintenance, and facility management.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for all administrative activities.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, conferences, and other corporate events.
- **Vendor Management**:
- Oversee vendor contracts and agreements, ensuring timely renewal and compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
- Manage procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- **Employee Engagement**:
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and programs.
- Support HR in onboarding new employees and ensuring a smooth integration process.
- Address and resolve any employee concerns related to administrative matters.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative roles within the construction and manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of statutory and payroll compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in vendor management and employee engagement activities.
- Additional certifications in HR or administration will be an advantage.
