**Position Title**: Purchase Assistant
**Department**: Procurement/Purchasing
**Reports To**: Incharges
**Timings**: 10am to 8 pm
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- **Order Processing**:
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Verify receipt of supplies and reconcile discrepancies with vendors.
- **Vendor Management**:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any issues related to deliveries, quality, or pricing.
- Assist in negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records, including invoices, receipts, and correspondence.
- Ensure all procurement activities are documented and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- **Cost Control**:
- Assist in monitoring and managing procurement budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure all purchased products meet the quality standards of the medical store.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues.
- **Coordination and Communication**:
- Coordinate with various departments to understand their product requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
- **Market Research**:
- Conduct market research to stay updated on new products, suppliers, and market trends.
- Assist in sourcing new products that meet the store's needs and enhance product offerings.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a medical or retail setting.
- **Skills**:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing records.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
