Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Organize and coordinate across teams for Transit IT programs through strategic and/or periodic planning, reviews and operationalize effective governance for IT programs for Transit BU. Coordinate cross-functional programs that require centralized PMO ownership
- Is responsible for the oversight and continuous monitoring of deliverables throughout the life cycle of the program(s). Coordinate, as the Transit IT Program Manager, between various programs to ensure that things stay on track and that the IT organization is meeting its overarching strategic initiatives for Transit.
- Monitor and report program(s) status and manage the budget and all financials associated with the program(s). Business value realization through successful program delivery and implementation
- Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
- Ensure all information in terms of Change/Enhancement Requests request are clearly documented, processed, and executed in a timely manner
- Drive effective communication, dependencies & risk management
- Identify risks and issues across programs which affect the realization of strategic goals and business benefits and contribute to the improvement of policies, standards, and processes.
- Contributes to the identification of pilots for rationalization
- Contributes to the rationalization project initiation, risk assessment, execution, and post project reviews
- Responsible for creating and maintaining catalog items in ServiceNow related to rationalization process.
- Responsible for monthly review of current state of rationalization efforts to drive execution.
- Ensure lessons learned are collected
- Perform initial and final financial reviews, and ensure ongoing budget tracking

Minimum Qualifications:

- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Engineering or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence and coordinate with team members and senior management
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_
- Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization
- Experience managing budgets including budget and spend
- Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals
- Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
- Self-starter - requires mínimal direction to accomplish goals
- Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
- Organization, time management, decision making, negotiation, optimism, flexibility, persistence, quality, and results orientation
- Proven ability to work with virtual teams in international environment
- Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
- PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications (nice to have)
- Excellent resource planning and task management skills
- Knowledge of business processes (engineering, manufacturing, operations, services)
- Proven ability to build solid relationships with the stakeholders based on trust, professionalism, and transparency
