About the Role

As a Product Owner for the Home Loans Governance/Well Managed squad, you will help ensure Home Loans assets and supporting processes are simplified and well managed, while providing support and advisory services to both business and technology leadership. You will champion well managed initiatives and uplift activities across the portfolio and continuously enhance tribe processes and playbooks to ensure adherence with policies.

The Home Loans Governance/Well Managed squad collaborates closely with Assurance, Business and Tehcnology teams, undertaking various functions including audit, assurance, control testing, user access management, vendor management, operational financial management, business continuity management and ADF release governance.

What will your day look like?

As a Product Owner Governance, you will:

Asset Health - Reviewing and reporting on security exemptions, vulnerability and patch management and ensuring necessary updates are actioned according to SLAs. Coordination and input into business and technology management forums. Reviewing, monitoring and reporting on compliance to policy/standards for key support documents and ensuring gaps are remediated in a timely manner. Controls Governance – Supporting and partnering with other teams to evidence that relevant system, business and automated process controls are well managed and effective. Audits - preparing for, supporting and facilitating remediation activities for any incoming internal/external audits. Vendor Management – ensuring vendors managed by the portfolio are compliant with Operational Contract Management requirements. Release Governance – Continuous improvement of delivery/release processes, ensuring compliance with ADF requirements. User Access Management - Monitoring and reviewing user access management requirements and ensuring compliance for all assets owned by the Home Loans Portfolio. Playbooks - Ensuring all playbooks are documented, reflect accurate portfolio processes and comply with ADF requirements. Business Continuity Management - Co-ordinating and testing business continuity plans across the portfolio.

Experience across a wide variety of areas in governance, such as Assurance, Risk, Release and Delivery, Control Testing, Security, Audit, Vendor Management, Business Continuity Planning, User Access Management Have demonstrable experience in project delivery across business and technology Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, both within and outside of the Portfolio, in particular Tech Assurance, Assurance and Security partners Ability to synthesis information from multiple sources to produce meaningful reporting, insights and action plans Ability to identify improvement opportunities, influence and implement these ideas Maintain commitment to change; engages with others to gain buy-in and act as an advocate for continuous improvement. Proactively identifies, support and drive opportunities for change A problem solver – energised by tackling complex problems.
