PRODUCTION INCHARGE
- **Duties/Responsibilities**:_

**Production Planning**: Develop and implement production plans based on customer orders, lead times, and production capacity. Coordinate with various departments to ensure materials, machinery, and manpower are available as needed.

**Supervision**: Manage and oversee the production team, including supervisors, line operators, and other production staff. Provide leadership, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.

**Quality Control**: Monitor the production process to maintain quality standards. Work closely with the Quality Control team to address any quality issues or deviations from the established standards.

**Efficiency and Productivity**: Implement strategies to maximize production efficiency and minimize production downtime. Optimize the use of machinery, equipment, and resources.

**Inventory Management**: Track and manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory to ensure an uninterrupted production flow while minimizing excess stock.

**Cost Management**: Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead. Seek cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

**Production Scheduling**: Create and manage production schedules, ensuring that production timelines are met to fulfill customer orders on time. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or urgent orders.

**Safety and Compliance**: Ensure that the production facility adheres to safety regulations and compliance standards. Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.

**Machine Maintenance**: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of production machinery. Schedule routine maintenance and repairs to prevent disruptions.

**Problem Solving**: Address and resolve production-related issues promptly, such as machine breakdowns, staffing problems, or material shortages.

**Reporting and Documentation**: Maintain records of production data, including output, efficiency, and quality. Generate regular reports for management review.

**Continuous Improvement**: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

**Communication**: Collaborate with other departments, such as design, procurement, and quality control, to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the production process.

**Training and Development**: Provide training and development opportunities for production staff to improve their skills and enhance their performance.

**Customer Satisfaction**: Ensure that production meets or exceeds customer expectations in terms of quality, quantity, and delivery schedules.

**Budget Management**: Manage the production budget and make recommendations for capital expenditures or resource allocation as needed.
