Store Incharge Job Description
**Overview**:
The Store Incharge is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of all inventory within the store. This includes receiving raw materials (RM), managing finished goods (FG), maintaining accurate inventory records, and operating a forklift for stock movement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Verify and process incoming deliveries of raw materials (RM) against purchase orders.
- Ensure proper storage of received RM according to designated locations.
- Pack and ship finished goods (FG) according to customer orders or production needs.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation.
**Inventory Management**:
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintain detailed inventory records in the system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or stock shortages.
- Manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or understocking.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports as required.
**Forklift Operation**:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move stock within the store.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to forklift operation.
- Maintain the forklift in good working order through basic checks and reporting any maintenance needs.
**Additional Duties**:
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
- May be required to train new staff on inventory procedures and forklift operation.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or Degree.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 year experience in a warehouse or store environment (preferred).
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift moderate weights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
