Inside Sales Officer

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base for our food research services.
- Identify and target potential clients, including food and beverage manufacturers, research institutions, and industry organizations, through various sales strategies.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our research capabilities, including product testing, quality assurance, and innovation services.
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and quotations to meet client needs and objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand and communicate the unique benefits and differentiators of our research services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to food research and development.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and implement strategies to enhance performance.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, webinars, and industry events to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the Sales Manager.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in the food science or research sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of food research processes, product development, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
