This student will: Develop and enhance Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Predictive Analytics solutions. Building training data sets, running scenarios, tuning algorithms, and similar support to a senior data scientist. BUSINESS ANALYST: CDM Smith is looking for a student with an interest in Business Analytics to join our IT team This student will act as a liaison between end users, developers and project managers while also having the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, which may include
- Participating in stakeholder meetings, interviews, and workshops to collect data/information from business-unit representatives documents. Performing basic assessments of system conditions and business requirements. Conducting preliminary analysis of stakeholder operations, best practices and/or market conditions following defined standards and approaches. Preparing project artifacts and formal documentation. Supporting project management and execution by organizing project related materials, preparing for and supporting project meetings, drafting correspondence and developing project deliverable. Performing other duties as required. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: CDM Smith is looking for a student to work with our Business Technology group. Reporting directly to the lead project manager and working alongside business analysts, this student will act as a liaison between key project stakeholders, while also having the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. To succeed in this role, this student should have natural analytical and critical thinking capabilities, while also being able to manage cross-functional task/responsibilities. With direct guidance, this student will assist with: Overseeing and completing project(s) of small to large size with basic to medium complexity scope. Scheduling any deliverables agreed to by the project stakeholders and leadership. Managing documents and maintaining records of project plan changes/updates and reviewing all project management materials with management. Ensuring projects are staffed with the appropriate Information Technology (IT), stakeholder and vendor resources (Business Analysts, Application Developers, Infrastructure Specialists, etc.). Performing detailed requirements analysis and documenting processes. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Attending meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. Working closely with clients, Technicians, and managerial staff. Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in various programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
- Support the testing and debugging of software to identify and resolve issues.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
- Understanding of software development tools and environments (e.g., Git, Visual Studio, Eclipse).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
