Sales Officer Industrial Sales

As a Sales Officer specializing in OEM Silent Generator Sales, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of silent generators to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Your primary objective will be to identify potential OEM partners, develop strong relationships, and secure sales agreements. You will work closely with our marketing and technical teams to ensure that our products meet the needs of OEMs and to provide excellent pre and post-sales support.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Prospecting and Lead Generation**: Identify potential OEM partners within the target market segments. Utilize various channels such as industry events, online research, and networking to generate leads.
- **Build Relationships**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at OEM companies. Understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives to position our silent generators effectively.
- **Product Presentation and Demonstrations**: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and technical specifications of our silent generators. Address any questions or concerns raised by potential OEM partners.
- **Negotiation and Closing**: Negotiate sales agreements and contracts with OEM partners, ensuring favorable terms for both parties. Close deals in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with internal teams including marketing, engineering, and customer support to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Provide feedback from the market to assist in product development and improvement.
- **Market Analysis**: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to silent generators and OEM partnerships. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- **Customer Support**: Provide ongoing support to OEM partners throughout the sales process and beyond. Address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the power generation or related industry.
- Strong understanding of OEM sales processes and dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical knowledge of generators or similar products is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
