**Job Role**:
Incumbent would be responsible for ensuring providing timely and accurate advice to the Biz/ ABEX. Should ensure timely reply to the notices/summons received from the tax departments in close co-ordination with consultants and Corp. affairs team. Should monitor pending litigations by timely attending and effectively the personal hearings either personally or through consultants and updating relevant records in MIS system and expected to bring out the avanues for effective tax planning and advice Biz to implement the same.

**Tax Advisory**
- On query being raised by business team. critically examination of provisions of GST law, VAT Law, CST Law, Central Excise Law, Service Tax, as the case may be, and to provide advise with all suitable options for impliment their business decision in most effective way.
- To study the tax practice prevailing in the market and act pro-actively and provide best suitable advise to business.
- To make representation to the respective Government body to avoid anomaly in the existing law.
- To up-date the business regarding changes takes place in the respective laws and to ensure that such changes are implimented in the true sprit of law.

**Compliance of Notices/ Summons/ Letters issued by the Government authority**
- On receipt of notices/ Summons/ Letter from the respective Government authority, analysis the requirement stated therein and inform to all concern about preparation of required details and specify time limit within which such details are to be submitted to the competent authority.
- Review the details prepared by business and ABEX and draft letter for submission of such details to the competent authority.
- Co-ordinate with Corporate affairs team for submission of said details and if required explain the said details to competent authority.

**Litigation and central management**
- Critically examination of the allegations and facts narreted in SCN and inform to all concern with respect to the demand raised in the notice.
- To prepare brief facts and legality involved in SCN and share the same with consultant for drafting of reply. Internal vetting of SCN reply provided by consultant.
- Accomapnany along with consultant for attending personal hearing and giving inputs for preparation of additional submission in the SCN.
- nternal vetting of an order passed by competent authority.
- Critically examination of the order and list out all grounds based on which demand has been confirmed in the order.
- Provide brief note to the consultant for preparing appeal and vetting the draft appeal prepared by the consultant.
- Accomapnany along with consultant for attending personal hearing and giving inputs for preparation of additional submission in the appeal.

**Departmental Assessments and Audits**
- On receipt of audit notice inform to all concern for compilation of details for audit.
- Preparation of assessment / audit plan in discussion with ABEX and Corporate affairs team
- Review of the information and documents (such as returns, financial statements, etc.) provided by ABEX / Business
- Review of the draft reply prepared by ABEX and get approval of Business team for their inputs, if any. Finalising the reply to be submitted to the auditors.
- Knowledge updation and SOP's Preparation
- Preparation of the policies and procedures based on the Governance done and as may be found out in the normal course of working.
- Issue of periodical flyers to Biz. so as to make them aware of the recent changes takes place in the respective laws.

Qualifications

**Educational Qualification**:
CA, ICWA, Inter CA, Bcom,LLB

**Experiences**

4-6 years in area of indirect taxation
