Purpose of the job:
Improvement from Baseline to Endline of students by teaching both theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum, conducting periodic review and providing continuous academic support to SDN Students.

Key Accountabilities/Duties & Responsibilities:
KRA 1- Improvement from Baseline to Endline of students in campus. - Teaching both theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum. - To be measured as % of students getting rejected in interviews. - % of students being able to understand and articulate the key learning outcomes (Beverages, Restaurant Setups, Menus, Service style etc) - Maintaining a strong hold on the restaurant premises, its furniture and equipment, making practical duty rota for the students and maintaining strict discipline and grooming standards. 1. periodic review, 2. Coordinating and conducting Career Planning Session 1 and 2. - Assessments - 1. Checking OJT students WILT & Duty Timesheet - Daily 2. Daily Assignment - Weekly Twice 3. Key Terms Tracker - Weekly Twice 4. Self-assessment tracker - Weekly 5. Practical assessment and performance assessment tracker - Weekly 6. Regular Viva Voce and Interview Training. KRA 2- Providing continuous academic support to SDN Students. - Conducting sessions in accordance to the schedule such that there are no delays and all activities of each week are completed on time. - Creating CGEP content and posting them based on students’ requirements - Creating one page content such as Ingredient module, beverage module and quiz which will give a brief knowledge for the students. - Coordinating with Universities and helping students to enroll in Hospitality Degree programs. - Creating notes for the Higher education students based on their syllabus given by the University and guiding them for their exams. - Regular follow up with the students during their OJT and making sure they post WILT and Duty timesheet every day and filling their logbooks and posting OJT Performance tracker weekly once and guiding them if they have any issues in their workplace. - Coordinating and conducting Career Planning Session 3 and 4. - SDN students’ progress report. - Maintaining events tracker and make sure its updated. - Guiding and training the students who is looking for job change or appraisal. (L1 & L2 Questions) - Guiding and training the students who is looking for job in Cruise or Abroad. KRA 3- Report submission on regular basis - Making below reports 1. Batch Execution Log - Weekly twice 2. Batch Execution checklist - Weekly twice 3. Maintaining students’ data base 4. Maintaining higher education data base Maintaining students’ data like offer letter and Pay slip. KRA 4 - Develop professional Network - Broaden professional network in 4- and 5-star hotels and professional hotel management colleges in Tamil Nadu. KRA 5- Training the students in making simple mocktails - Training the students in making simple mocktails and required garnishes. Make purchase indent based on needs. - 10 mocktails to be taught for each batch in terms of ingredients and procedure to be done as practical. KRA 6 - Arranging industry visits and guest lectures. - Arranging industrial exposure visits and guest lectures to students whenever needed. - 1 Guest Lecture and 1 IV to be organized for each batch. Total 6 every year. - This should be end to end - from identifying the person till scheduling and closing the visit. KRA 7 - Making periodic purchase indent and maintaining raw materials. - Making periodic purchase indent as per practical training requirements - Maintaining and rotating training restaurant's perishable and non-perishable items. - Also training the students in making purchase indent. KRA 8 - Maintenance of training restaurant linen, periodic laundry, restaurant inventory and record keeping - Overseeing the maintenance of training restaurant linen and periodic laundry - Overseeing the training restaurant inventory, their maintenance and record keeping and training the students to do the same. - Overseeing the restaurant pantry and purchasing necessary stocks needed for guest visit as well as food and snacks for students. Academic: Graduate or Post Graduate Professional: Atleast 2-3 yrs experience in professional Food and Beverage Service in Supervisory or Managerial Category Prior experience of training young adults from less privileged background will be preferred.
