**Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India** is a combined Line of Business-aligned (LOB-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions. **The current opening is within the Business Intelligence team in Bangalore which forms part of the Commercial Banking (CB) Strategy, Finance & Business Management function. This position will be aligned to the Strategy arm of CB SF&BM Organization. This group works as an advisor to the business on various market, segment, client and product strategies.**

CB operates in 170+ locations and serves 23,000+ C&I clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit entities, with annual revenue generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion, and ~30,000 real estate clients, owners and investors. CB has $200+ billion in loans and $300+ billion in deposits, and is comprised of Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI), Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI), Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending and Community Development Banking.

**Position Overview**

The opening is for an Associate level role within the JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking Strategy, Finance & Business Management (SF&BM) team. The newly conceived Business Intelligence team has the mandate to use data-driven and advanced analytical approaches to identify, prioritize and accelerate high-value revenue growth opportunities for the Commercial Banking business. The team will leverage existing and new data sets, both JPMC-proprietary and third party market research, to identify the best opportunities for the business to profitably add new clients and deepen existing relationships. This position will be leveraging the power of data and creative visualization, to develop actionable business insights and support business intelligence leads to articulate the most optimal growth opportunities. Success in this role requires ability to gather, scrub and process large amount of data to help draw actionable insights to support business growth objectives.

**About the Role**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Support a portfolio of business intelligence engagements, leading to actionable insights
- Execute on market research, data aggregation and analytical approaches to drive toward industry-leading asset
- Help solve complex problems
- Aid in crafting clear and compelling narratives, leveraging creative data visualization, to enable opportunity prioritization, idea convergence, insight operationalization and stakeholder buy-in
- Aid identification and validation new business growth ideas by leveraging existing and new data sets
- 4 to 8 years' experience in Data Analytics; Consulting experience preferred
- Fluency with large data sets, advanced analytical tools and problem-solving approaches
- Demonstrated capability to draw actionable insights to support business growth objectives from a variety of data and research assets
- Expertise with tools like Alteryx, SQL, Tablea
