Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, documents, and presentations.
- Manage inventory and office supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Support the accounts department with invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Handle customer inquiries and support the front office as needed.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments for team members.
- Assist with payroll and human resource-related tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality concerning company procedures and sensitive information.
- Support other departments in completing administrative tasks as requested.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or back office role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
- The Back Office Assistant typically works in an office environment, with standard working hours. Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
- This role can serve as a stepping stone to more advanced administrative positions, such as Office Manager, Administrative Coordinator, or Executive Assistant.
