Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate international markets and achieve sales targets for pet food products.
- Conduct comprehensive market surveys to identify new business opportunities and understand market needs and trends.
- Manage and nurture relationships with international distributors, retailers, and direct consumers.
- Identify and qualify new sales leads through research, networking, and market analysis.
- Present and demonstrate products to potential clients, highlighting benefits and features that meet their needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute international marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and market research data in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, detailing key metrics and progress towards targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international sales, preferably in the pet food industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in both B2B and B2C markets.
- Strong understanding of international markets and experience in conducting market surveys.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Passion for pets and a thorough understanding of pet food products and market trends.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital sales tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and export procedures.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
