Purpose of the job

The goal of a Sales support executive is to provide an exceptional and memorable Customer Experience from start to finish. Supporting the Market Managers, AVP and team within their given areas and strengthening the customer service experience and efficiencies within our dealer network. Ensuring the India office upholds the highest quality of experience that truly reflects and embodies the Herman Miller/ MillerKnoll brand.

In addition, support senior leadership, with Mobility request, Calendar management, Expense management and work closely with senior leadership as Executive Assistant.

Specific responsibilities

Sales Support Executive responsibilities:
- Work alongside sales team and support events like product launch, dealer events, showroom launch, dealers meet, plane & coordinate/execute all such events.-
Coordinated with finance team and vendors for payments and settlements of events Manages showroom tour schedule and meeting room usage.-
- Maintains current product knowledge on all product lines and understands current workplace issues and discuss with market managers.-
Works with the resident team to uphold workspace standards and ensure protocols and procedures are followed.-
Works with regional and area sales personnel to develop and design customer visits that are unique and specific to each client.-
Ensure Herman Miller experience center maintains company’s visual standards.-
Work closely with global facilities and branded environments teams to ensure the India office maintains a consistent and involving showroom experience.-
Support commercial sales team in coordinating, planning & booking their travel & hotel staysExecutive Assistant responsibilities:
Support AVP - India, SEA, ME by assisting with international travel requests, calendar management, expense management via internal tool-
Partner with travel vendor, local admin and HR team, provide assistance in travel documents including VISA etc-
Draft simple communication, follow ups, reminder communication within the teamLocation and Reporting

Part of the India Sales team, based out of Bangalore.

This role will be reporting to India Sales Manager directly with dotted line to Area VP - SAARC, SEA & MEA

Education and experience

Essential:
Business Degree or equivalent

Successful previous experience of minimum 5 years Experience of working for a multinational organization.

Experience of coordinating with Travel Agencies/ Airlines/ Hotels/ travel visa coordinators

Knowledgeable in forecasting and planning

English, spoken and written essential.

Competences
- Essential:_

Good communicator both verbally and in written form Well organized with good time management skills.

Must enjoy teamwork, but also be self-motivated and able to work alone and be self-sufficient good networking skills, proactive, organized, methodical and analytical in approach.

Must be flexible to work long hours as required Must be highly literate in the use of IT systems Quick learner.

Able to show initiative and creativity.
