**Job Title: Front Desk/Receptionist**

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Front Desk Management**:

- Greet and welcome students, parents, staff, and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Maintain the security of the institution by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.

**2. Administrative Support**:

- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, deliveries, and internal communications.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, ensuring availability and proper organization.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, photocopying, scanning, and filing of documents.

**3. Visitor and Student Assistance**:

- Direct visitors to appropriate departments, classrooms, or offices.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable, with necessary materials available (e.g., forms, brochures, school policies).

**4. Coordination and Communication**:

- Schedule and manage appointments for staff, faculty, and administrative meetings.
- Coordinate with various departments and faculty members to support school events, parent-teacher conferences, and other activities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of school events, including open houses, orientation sessions, and graduation ceremonies.

**5. Student Records and Attendance**:

- Assist in maintaining student records, attendance logs, and other essential documentation.
- Support the registrar with enrollment processes and updating student information systems.

**6. Customer Service**:

- Handle inquiries and concerns from students, parents, and staff professionally and efficiently.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of the school community.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification or coursework in Office Administration or Education is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or similar role, ideally in an educational setting.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with school management software.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment, such as copiers, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Working Conditions**:

- This role requires extended periods of sitting and frequent use of office equipment.
- The Receptionist must manage a busy front desk with high volumes of student and parent interactions, which can be demanding and require patience and professionalism.
