**Position : Hygiene Office / QHSE officer**
**Location : Muscat (Oman)**
- Should have undergone training in Food Safety Level 1/2/ 3, HACCP Level 2, Train the Trainer or documented equivalent experience in training and development.
- Should have acquired practical knowledge and experience of food production sanitation with an experience in food production.
- Should possess practical knowledge and experience of BRC or other third-party accreditation audits, COSHH, allergen management and validation.
- Should have desirable experience in management and conducting hygiene -associated validation activities and validation protocols.
- Should have the ability to work autonomously, without direct supervision.
- Should have the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Should possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Should have the ability to interact with multiple levels within the business as well as with external contactors and customers.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Leads and executes the Hygiene Master Sanitation Schedule - ensuring compliance with safety, legal, environmental, customer & corporate requirements.
- Produces active approach to conveying and delivering the company’s core values.
- Deputies as appropriate for the Site Hygiene Lead including the day-to-day management of the teams and any associated activities.
- Take stock, audit, and document all COSHH-related activities.
- Supports a team function in delivering CIP operation, efficiency, and sanitation schedules to ensure production efficiency is not compromised.
- Develops, maintains and continuously updates/improves hygiene cleaning instruction cards with a strict discipline for controlling and communicating changes.
- Maintains an up-to-date document control system in relationship with the rest of the quality team and QMS system, at the same time exercises a strict discipline for controlling and communicating changes.
- Produces high quality training material that is not limited to hygiene-related and general tasks but also operations and engineering - should include specific training in the elimination of foreign body/swarf and biological contaminants thorough cleaning.
- Holds regular team meeting to enable a strong leadership and mentoring presence within the hygiene teams.
- Audits the site’s core hygiene services such as pest control, waste management, laundry, and consumables.

**Preferred Qualification**
- Experience working as Hygiene supervisory / management or similar leadership role in a food manufacturing environment.
