We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive in indirect tax to join our team. You will be working closely with various regions in performing tax compliance and tax accounting functions.

In this role you will be responsible for the preparation of indirect tax returns (VAT, GST). You’ll also be responsible for several tax related payments and filings for the EMEA/ANZ region, including tax related balance sheet reconciliations, month end VAT accounting, IDT registration and audits, preparation of Insurance Premium Tax returns and researching tax applicability on goods/services as per IDT laws.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a professional accountancy qualification (CA) with 2-4 years of relevant experience in within a shared services environment or financial services organisation. You will have exposure to indirect tax compliances within the EMEA/ANZ region and have knowledge of indirect tax concepts and accounting standards. Exposure to IFRS will be considered favourably.

You’ll demonstrate good working knowledge of accounting systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Excel. You’ll demonstrate good communication and research skills while working in a virtual, global team with the ability to manage cross-border relationships effectively and be comfortable working in different time zones.
