**Job Title**:SharePoint Intranet Administrator**Job Location**: India (Remote)**Job Overview**:
The SharePoint Intranet Administrator will be responsible for building and managing the company’s intranet based on Microsoft SharePoint and M365, focusing on easy-to-use layout and design for all employees globally. The role includes the day-to-day management and operations of the company’s intranet site through direct management of sites and content and assisting company functions in the management of their sites and content. This includes day-to-day administration, managing requests, and addressing incidents across the SharePoint intranet platform.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Become familiar with services being documented and understand how to communicate concepts and services to employees.
- Utilize out-of-the-box SharePoint capabilities to manage company requirements, including SharePoint best practices.
- Provide SharePoint guidance and support through verbal communication and written step-by-step processes.
- Maintain configuration of SharePoint layout and changes to site requirements.
- Build functional SharePoint sites that are user-friendly and user-friendly by collaborating with staff on layout, design, and build, and update content within sites regularly to keep pages up to date as required.
- Gather requirements to ensure collaborative activity, permissions, workflows, and site configurations are implemented cohesively within the SharePoint environment.
- Provide troubleshooting of technical issues and act as a technical point of contact for SharePoint, which may include providing training and best practice guidance through formal and informal training or Q&A sessions.
- Provide support to modernize, introduce new technologies, and streamline capability development as required in support of overall mission objectives.
- Review and report site performance issues as necessary, ensuring SharePoint site functionality and efficiency.
- Manage access rights/permissions for users as appropriate, optimize site loading speeds, and perform necessary updates.
- Assist during SharePoint updates, patching, and upgrades as necessary.
- Communicate with management and team members on ways to improve SharePoint sites.
- Develop and maintain Knowledge Management processes and procedures.
- Provide SharePoint training and tutorials to employees.
- Update and revise existing documentation as products and services evolve.

**Job Requirements**:
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in web design, Computer Science, or another related field with 7+ years of experience or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Experience
- 5 years of proven experience in Microsoft SharePoint or other content management platforms.
- Professional writing and strong communication skills required.
- Skills/Competencies
- Excellent analytical skills with communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards in all documentation and training materials.
- Ability to take technical information and communicate it multiple ways to multiple audiences.
- Provides clarity of communication with leadership and the team will be a significant factor to drive performance.
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
