Role Purpose:
Category buyer for Safety & Quality dept and handling of Contract management, negotiation, supplier quality at Bangalore.

Roles and Responsibility:

- Responsible for on-time end to end process of PR to PO conversion as set process.
- Experience working in SAP ERP system.
- Responsible for on-time Delivery of Materials and Services of a Business unit.
- Effective follow-up for timely deliveries from Supplies as per the agreed timelines.
- Effective Co-ordination for timely receipt of material at Warehouse and track the GRN completion and payments due and release.
- Responsible for procurement related records collection, storage, maintenance for transparency and compliance.
- Ensure that purchasing policies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and evaluate and select / develop new suppliers.
- Handle the Quality, Safety department requirements

Review and negotiate existing agreements to optimize commercial terms.

Role Specific Competencies:

- Minimum of 7-9 years of experience as an executive-level assistant or comparable coordinator
- Exemplary administrative skills including a thorough knowledge of standard office procedures and proper protocols, departmental organization and reporting structures.
- Proven track record and experienced in handling confidential information.
- Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced corporate environment.
- Event planning and administrative management experience strongly preferred.
