Role Purpose

Category buyer for Safety & Quality dept and handling of Contract management, negotiation, supplier quality at Bangalore.

Roles and Responsibility:

Responsible for on-time end to end process of PR to PO conversion as set process.Experience working in SAP ERP system.Responsible for on-time Delivery of Materials and Services of a Business unit.Effective follow-up for timely deliveries from Supplies as per the agreed timelines.Effective Co-ordination for timely receipt of material at Warehouse and track the GRN completion and payments due and release.Responsible for procurement related records collection, storage, maintenance for transparency and compliance.Ensure that purchasing policies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets.Manage relationships with suppliers and evaluate and select / develop new suppliers.Handle the Quality, Safety department requirements

Review and negotiate existing agreements to optimize commercial terms.

Role Specific Competencies:

Minimum of 7-9 years of experience as an executive-level assistant or comparable coordinatorExemplary administrative skills including a thorough knowledge of standard office procedures and proper protocols, departmental organization and reporting structures.Proven track record and experienced in handling confidential information.Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced corporate environment.Event planning and administrative management experience strongly preferred.
