**Job Title: AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect**

**Location**: Bangalore

**Department**: IT/Infrastructure

**Reports to**: CTO/Director of IT

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Experience Required**: 10+ years

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design and Architecture**:

- Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation for cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of cloud infrastructure.
- **Cloud Strategy and Roadmap**:

- Develop and maintain a cloud strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and solutions based on best practices and industry standards.
- **Implementation and Deployment**:

- Lead the deployment of AWS infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
- **Security and Compliance**:

- Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Implement and manage security controls, including IAM, VPC, security groups, and encryption.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- **Monitoring and Optimization**:

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure infrastructure health and performance.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure.
- **Collaboration and Leadership**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and IT operations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on cloud architecture and best practices.
- **Innovation and Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure and processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent certification.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and AWS Lambda.
- Experience with data migration and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL and service management frameworks.
