Deputy of the Group Project Planning fundamentals manager, in charge of developing planning management métier across all Alstom, as well as continuously improving adherence to planning processes in close coordination with sites, métiers, product lines and regions.
**Your m**ain responsibilities will be**:
- Develop and revise Project Planning Guidelines, effectively implementing and improving best practices to improve the consistency and synchronization of planning processes at Alstom Group Planning level
- Foster a strong Project Planning Management culture and maintain consistency in project planning practices throughout all Alstom
- Encourage the use of planning as the main driving tool through training, communications, and coaching
- Contribute to improvement plans on time-related KPI
- Ensure adherence to processes
- Assess and promote the development of Project Planner competencies through defining training programs
- Manage the capture of return of experience on Planning processes, recurring pain points and performance, including root cause analysis to ensure continuous improvement

**Experience**:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Management
- At least 5 years of experience in Project Planning roles, with a preference for those in industry & construction sectors
- Desirable: Certification in Project Management/Planning Management
**Competencies & Skills**:
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, international and a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English is mandatory, while a working knowledge of french would be considered an asset
- Proven experience with project scheduling & planning tools such as Planisware or Primavera
- Good communication skills (verbal & written) with the abillty to simplify complex material for a wide audience
- Proficiency in training design
- Advanced knowledge in Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Qliksense
