The Position:


function.Youwill bepart of a multi-country teamresponsiblefortheaccurateand timely delivery

of compensation and benefits to APEX employees.

Job Specification:

The main responsibilities ofthe position will include (butis notlimited to)thefollowing

tasks:

- Consistently deliver highly accurate and compliant payroll and benefit processing

for ANZ Region. Sound knowledge of India Payroll processing will be an added

advantage;
- Administering employee’s personal / payroll / benefit data through the employee

lifecycle, within the payroll and benefit vendor platforms;

Execute procedural controls in accordance with processing quality framework

Validation and reconciliation of payroll processing reports and benefit invoices,

ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of compensation and benefits to all

employees;

enquires from employees, responding efficiently and within agreed SLAs;

Liaising with the finance teamto ensureaccurateand timely recognition of payroll

and benefit costs within the financial accounts;

Create, review and update payroll procedure documentation, ensuring

alignment with country legislation and corporate policy changes.

ANZ Payroll:

Sound knowledge of New Zealand and Australia payrolls

Australian and NewZealand compliance calculations such as, but not limited to:

Age Based Limit and Superannuation Guarantee Maximum Contribution

Limits

Kiwi Saver

Bonus related tax obligations

Fringe Benefit and related LAFHA reporting obligations

New hires, Terminations / Severance
- Assisting with Australian & New Zealand statutory complianceof payroll function

and ensuring accuracy of relevant accounting records

Ensuring New Zealand payroll and practices align with the NZ Holidays Act and

other relevant legislation

Understanding of NewZealand Inland Revenue Department(IRD) Legislation as it

pertains to payroll

Understanding of KiwiSaver/Superannuation Legislation

India Payroll:

Working knowledge of India Payroll processing, final settlements, statutory

provisions like PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity etc.

Preparation & checking the documents like PF Challans, ESI Challans, Prof. Tax

Challans, Income Tax Deductions, Statutory payments etc.

Acting a helpdesk to resolve employees queries

Maintain and publish periodic dashboard & MIS Reports
Ensuring timelines are met for all statutory compliance.

Skills Required

Proven experience in a payroll and benefit delivery environment

Theabilitytoworkautonomouslyon own initiativeeither independentlyor as part

of a team
- Must have 6 plus years of experience in Payroll, Compliance, Audit and Labour

Laws
Should have excellent written and spoken English.

Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, regulations and procedures

Motivated, self-starter individual with high level of integrity, intensity and activity

with a can-do attitude.

Ability to work equally well either independently or as part of a team

Proficient in MS Office Suite - especially in MS Excel;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
