**About Emera**:
Emera is a direct to consumer brand focused on bringing sustainable alternatives of day-to-day products to planet friendly families in India. The brand is the manifestation of the Founder's desire to make a meaningful contribution to Mother Earth, leaving it a little better than what weʼve inherited. Emeraʼs first product is a plant based, all surface cleaner brought to the market in a concentrate form, which cleans effectively thanks to its powerful natural enzymes doing all the grunt work. Its unique concentrate form allows patrons to whip up all kinds of household cleaners including Floor, Kitchen, Bathroom, Glass & Wood, multiple times and hence lasts for months. Moreover, the reuse of all cleaner bottles reduces plastic waste from each household by up to 50 bottles a year. Emeraʼs mission is to create a vibrant community of users who are deeply pained by the use of chemicals, plastics and environment harming elements in their daily life. These raving fans will replace such harmful products with eco-friendly alternatives that provide substantial value for money, are differentiated yet similar to what they are using right now. Our primary vehicle of promotion and education will be the online medium, social media in particular. Emera will indulge in significant experimentation across all digital marketing avenues, especially conversion focused advertising and psychologically impactful persuasion techniques.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Responsibilities**:
- **Product Marketing Strategy**:_
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences and trends, to inform marketing strategies.
- Develop a deep expertise of our offerings and the customer problem by formulating hypotheses, conducting experiments, user interviews and analyzing data to validate customer needs.
- Create compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with the target audience, the Emera Brand and distinguishes our products from competitors.
- **Social Media Strategy**:_
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, with a primary focus on Instagram, to promote and acquire customers for the Emera All-in-One Surface Cleaner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes and emerging features on social media platforms for optimized marketing efforts.
- Implement promotion campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and loyalty.
- **Content Creation**:_
- Create compelling and engaging content tailored for Instagram and other social media channels.
- Develop educational content to highlight the benefits of our plant-based concentrate and its positive environmental impact.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually appealing graphics, videos and other content assets that resonate with our target audience.
- **Community Building**:_
- Cultivate and nurture a vibrant community of users who share a passion for sustainability and eco-friendly living.
- Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content, testimonials and product reviews.
- **Growth Experimentation**:_
- Drive experimentation across various digital marketing avenues, emphasizing conversion-focused advertising and leveraging psychologically impactful persuasion techniques.
- Analyze data and key performance indicators to refine strategies for maximum impact.
- **Collaboration**:_
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer support, and product development, freelancers to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in product marketing/management.
- Strong understanding of customer pain points, funnel building, and product marketing.
- Highly analytical with good quantitative and research skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Capable of taking complete product ownership, needing minimum guidance and oversight.
- Experience developing and executing successful product marketing plans and campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience using marketing automation and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Salesforce.
