Job purpose
The Manager - Teacher Training is responsible for designing & delivering training programs to
school educators on Values, Life-Skills & Social Emotional Learning
The Job involves understanding needs of clients, researching & designing short to medium term
& continuous training programs, delivering programs frequently, finding, screening, consulting &
implementation within specified budget & collaborating with multiple departments ensure
achievement of program outcomes w.r.t children, teachers & parents
Duties and responsibilities
- Training Needs Analysis
- Interacting with Principals, Educators & Students to understand needs and
contributing to devising relevant & customized trainings, operation plan, assessments etc
- Research & Document latest developments in Values, Life-Skills & SEL, Teacher
Training
- Training Design
- Design Foundational Training Programs for first time & seasoned educators on Effective
Values, Life-Skills & SEL Education Delivery as per Val-Ed Model
- Develop Topics & Concepts (Research + Original) to be part of Training Material
- Make Detailed Training Lessons Plans on variety of training topics
- Design Day, Week, Month & Year long Training Calendars as per client & Val-Ed model
- Develop short sessions for promotion & relationship building & paid sessions on school
needs
- Training Delivery
- Deliver Trainings on variety of topics related to Values, Life-Skills & SEL Education (Both
online & offline)
- Training Educators to deliver 40 min lessons plans, 60-75 min events to students &
occasionally to teachers & parents
- Design & Co-administer credible assessments to understand program impact
- Consultant Management
on assignment basis to support educator development
- Co-Creating Program objectives, design & assessment with consultants

Working Days & Time:
Mon - Fri every week + 2
Saturdays/month (10 am to 6 pm)
- Educator Monitoring, Mentoring & Management
- Monitor & Support Educator Growth
- To support the growth and development of empaneled educators, improve their
individual performances and self-fulfillment by collaborating with content & program
department and ensuring frequent & variety of methods and learning programs (Short
term, Long term, Continuous, one-time, internal, external) through online & offline methods
- Support Educators across schools in real-time on issues related to delivery, student &
learning oriented challenges as and when they arise
- Design & Oversee administering of Continuous Quality Educator Assessments
- Operations
- Oversee creation & maintenance of Educator Profiles, Pre-Commencement Surveys,
Project Reports, Educator Class Trackers & Peer-Reviews
- To oversee the design & execution of Pre-Program and Post-Program Processes
- Preparing & Adhering to Operational Budgets for all Training Programs of Val-Ed
- Preparing & Adhering to Human-Resource Budgets for All Programs of Val-Ed
- Consultancy
- To contribute towards improvement of Saksham Program by helping improve planning,
content, delivery & assessment
- To play a key role in expansion planning for all programs of Val-Ed
- To design future service/product verticals of Val-Ed
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Post Graduate with a degree from recognized state/central/private university
- Prior experience in teaching, training, facilitating or counseling both children & adults in
educational institutions
- Must have 5 years &/or 200 hours experience of training on at least one of the following
- Values Education/Life Skills Education/Well-Being/Social Emotional
Learning/Character Education
- Ability to train innovatively & effectively through both online & offline mediums
- High level of written & spoken proficiency in English & speaking proficiency in Kannada &
Hindi
- Skills in MS Office (word, excel, ppt, etc), online tools such as Google drive, google
sheets, forms, etc.), video and audio tools (Zoom, Meet, Microsoft Teams, Kahoot etc)
- Initiative, adaptability and willingness to go beyond your specific roles and tasks,
whenever required.
- Thinking and problem-solving skills - assessing situations, identifying problems and
solutions, analyzing, innovating, etc.
- An inquisitive mind that’s always open to continuous learning and improvising on your
knowledge and skills.
**Salary**: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
