Responsible for shaping, developing and designing service solutions for security opportunities.

The role holder is responsible for establishing and maintaining high quality close working relationships with the account & sales teams who act as the direct channel to market. Once the opportunity has been developed sufficiently to enter into a bid cycle, the role holder will support the creation of the operational proposition and, through engagement of the wider bid team, support the development of the overall service proposition. This may include, but not limited to, networks, Security products, systems, service, business processes and people.

The role holder will work closely with all elements of BT Security to ensure the service design is cost effective, capable of delivery, sustainable in life and directly addresses the agreed scope of work. This will require the qualification and subsequent development of security opportunities in direct consultation with the MU.
Your Accountabilities
- Support sales in the early qualification of security opportunities to gain a better understanding of the customer requirements, current landscape and vision.
- Support Security Sales in building strategic customer relationships through a consultative approach.
- Support the regional security bid qualification process.
- Developing and supporting the service design activity throughout the bid life cycle, including evaluating and approving service designs provided by suppliers (including BT) to ensure they are deliverable and cost effective in the context of an end-to-end customer service.
- Support the bid throughout all stages including presentation at sign on and sign off including SLT sign off sessions, escalations and up to handover to service transition.
- Defining and sourcing component parts of a service solution.
- Production of high level and detailed security service designs
- Support contract schedule analysis & bid response.
- Responsible for the operating model and organisational design for bids, ensuring they align with BT best practice and standards as required.
Key Skills

8-10 years of working experience in service design role and/or experience working within a managed security organization working at a senior level and should have hands on multiple Security Products like Firewalls, Proxies, LB’s, Cloud Technologies.

Extensive IT and data network experience with a proven track record in security.

Extensive experience of stakeholder management and influencing skills gained at a senior level.

Proven knowledge of risk management processes.

Recognised practitioner in Security management, network and information security and people security.

Strong documentation experience and the ability to drive processes and procedures.

Experience of working in an environment using the ITIL framework.

Understanding of relevant compliance regulations

Excellent communication skills

Excellent presentation skills

Excellent stake owner management skills
- Industry specific qualifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM and CISA etc.
- Should have experience in working with Global Clients and MNC’s.
- Should be Open to Work in Different Time zones
