We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team at M/s Vineet Chemical Works. As a Lab Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations and ensuring accurate and reliable testing of various chemicals, including sodium silicate, alkalinity, silica, and other related tests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine chemical tests, including but not limited to sodium silicate, alkalinity, silica, and other specified tests as required.
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and instruments for testing.
- Follow established testing procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and consistent results.
- Record and document test data, observations, and results accurately in laboratory notebooks or computer systems.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to share findings and contribute to the overall understanding of chemical properties.
- Assist in sample collection, preparation, and analysis as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Report any discrepancies, irregularities, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Stay updated on relevant scientific and technical advancements in the field of chemical testing.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or coursework in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience or coursework in chemical testing, analysis, or laboratory work is a plus.
- Basic understanding of chemical testing methods, procedures, and laboratory equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and documenting data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow protocols and safety guidelines effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in using basic computer software for data entry and record keeping.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing methods and procedures.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

**Salary**: From ₹20,000.00 per month
