**Responsibilities**:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring efficient and effective functioning.

2. Coordinate and prioritize lab activities, including sample testing, analysis, and reporting, to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

3. Manage a team of lab technicians and assistants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback as needed.

4. Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring proper calibration, maintenance, and inventory management.

5. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes and protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.

7. Collaborate with other departments, such as research and development, production, and quality control, to support company goals and initiatives.

8. Conduct quality control checks and audits to monitor and maintain the accuracy and reliability of lab results.

9. Prepare and review reports, documentation, and data analysis to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

10. Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in laboratory management and technology.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, microbiology) required; Master's degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

3. Strong knowledge and understanding of laboratory procedures, techniques, and instrumentation.

4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

7. Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements related to laboratory operations.

8. Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
