Job Profile

The Program officer will be responsible to lead the STEM initiative for the project. S/he will be deployed at the STEM Innovation and learning center being set up in the state education department. S/He will be responsible for overall project management and day to day coordination with the education department. High level of liaison and networking at the state and the district level will be required.

**1. Program Management**

Program Coordinator will have the overall responsibility for the effective delivery of the STEM Innovation and Learning centre.

Program Coordinator will be leading the STEM initiative in the state under the guidance of Director/commissioner of the concerned education department.

Program Coordinator will be responsible to manage AIF team (Training coordinators ) onboarded under the project.

Program Coordinator will be responsible for fulfilling the objectives and achieving desire outcomes of the project.

S/He will help the Department of Education in preparing SOP or policy on STEM education for the state.

STEM Team Lead will be responsible for planning, scheduling and conducting state and district level training workshops for STEM master teachers\ trainers identified by Education Department.

Program Coordinator shall be responsible for strategizing annual budget and its execution plan for STEM intervention, supervising operations and quality assurance, organizing trainings and workshops, overseeing monitoring & evaluation activities, monthly/regular reporting of the program progress & update, collation of best practices & learning of the program, undertaking state specific research/ impact for influencing change.

Program Coordinator must be able to think strategically to increase the reach of the program in the allocated state, work independently and author outputs of very high quality.

Act as a local ambassador of the 'STEM initiative' and ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct.

**Financial Management**:
Work closely with the State Project Lead and submit the donor wise budget

Any other work as assigned by the line manager

**Skills**
- Good program knowledge and conversant with emerging technologies in the development sector\
- Skills in focusing on program quality and a positive approach in to solving challenges
- Good data analysis skills with program planning and design, monitoring and evaluation frameworks and techniques
- Strong in people management with effective performance management approach and commitment
- High level of networking and representation skills
- Good analytical and numeracy skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change
- Flexible to travel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹42,000.00 - ₹47,000.00 per month
