Duration: 6 months

MBA in Operations but can also consider those with backgrounds in Data Analytics or Engineering (Production/Mechanical).

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Demand Forecasting team as an intern. In this role, you will be responsible for building forecasts based on historical demand information, marketing intelligence, and product mix. Your work will involve establishing solutions through recurring deliverables and presentations, providing actionable analysis that reflects a deep understanding of business acumen. You will also focus on improving the quality of deliverables, driven by analytical and client-centric thinking, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and quality. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in demand planning and forecasting, contributing to data-driven decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to support accurate demand forecasting.

Forecasting Models: Assist in the development, maintenance, and refinement of statistical models and algorithms for predicting future demand.

Collaboration and Alignment: Prioritize and organize workload effectively, collaborating with peers to ensure alignment with the team’s vision and objectives.

Reporting and Insights: Analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources and present coherent observations and actionable recommendations. Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate forecast accuracy, variances, and insights to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Support the team in identifying opportunities for improving forecast accuracy, including process enhancements and the integration of new data sources.

Tools and Software: Gain proficiency in using demand forecasting software, statistical tools, and data visualization platforms.

Adaptability and Proactivity: Adapt to evolving business needs and display a proactive sense of urgency in addressing challenges and opportunities as they arise.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: Recently completed a degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel and data visualization platforms.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Self-Motivation: A self-motivated approach, with the ability to complete work timely and efficiently, consistently exceeding expectations.
