What will your day look like

As a Automation Test Engineer/Tester, you will deliver value for ANZ.

Total of 6 to 8 years' relevant experience
Collaborating with the product owner, Engineers, Analysts and other people in your Squad to identify risks early and helps to prevent and fix bugs as they arise, improving quality from the outset. Test early and often
Understanding customer needs and ensuring tests cases are designed to meet acceptance criteria
Coaching engineers to have test driven development approaches to avoid coding defects
Designing test approaches and optimizing test execution across functional and non-functional coverage
Building scripts and tools to implement and continuously improve test outcomes
Identifying opportunities for testing continuous improvement and implement solutions to perform more effective and efficient testing
Ensuring the necessary hygiene and traceability for test case creation, script creation, test execution and defect logging in a tool system
Create acceptance criteria and provide estimates for their work
Influence Analysts and Engineers to have a testing mindset by contributing to and / or supporting analysis and design activities

But back to some of the skills
- In depth knowledge of, and extensive experience in, open-source test automation frameworks e.g., Selenium, WebDriverIO, Protractor, Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright etc.

**Highly proficient in JavaScript (vanilla and React JS)**: Mocha / Jest / Enzyme
Extensive experience in REST API testing and API automation frameworks e.g., Supertest, Mocha etc.
Sound experience in performance testing and performance testing tooling e.g., Apache JMeter, HP Loadrunner, Artillary, K6 etc.
Sound experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo etc
Sound experience in service virtualisation and stubbing technologies e.g., Mountebank, CA LISA etc
Strong software engineering fundamentals, and proven experience in a few programming languages.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and be a strong team player.
Have a growth mindset, a focus on continuous improvement, and be passionate about learning new tools, technologies and practices.
In addition, experience in any of the following would be highly favourable:
Security Testing
Contract Testing
Cloud (AWS. GCP etc) experience and/or certifications

**Good to have skills**:
Attend test conferences and get the latest trends in testing into the Chapter.
Get the relevant certification from industry and improve the culture of learning and growth within the chapter.
Have a thirst and willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies bringing benefits into the Tribe
Conduct Sessions and Tribe Sessions for the Testing Chapter
