Job Description - BDM - Medical Advisor

**Function**: Sales and Business → Sales / Business Development
- Business Development for Health Insurance
- Health insurance Sales
- Direct Sales

**Responsibilities**:

- Business Development and Execution Formulate Sales for Health Insurance.
- Execution on the ground for driving health business in alignment with overall business strategy for the vertical considering the prevailing market conditions to ensure achievement of defined targets/revenue/ profit.
- Maintains and analyzes sales reports and accordingly directs sales teams to increase health business.
- Screen market landscape and identify prospective institutes/ big agents who can liaison with us to increase health sales.
- Develop and implement action plans for increasing market share while maintaining the profitability of the business.
- Intermediary Management Analyze the performance of agents and guide them to maximize their revenue by using upselling/cross-selling strategies.
- Manage relationships with the bank branches that have been assigned to the Health Sales team across the zone, to drive health business.
- Ensure IMD and customer grievances have been addressed, if any.
- Engage with the agents monthly to ensure they are adequately motivated to keep generating business for Second Medic.
- Run campaigns/training/ league programs for intermediaries in the zone to develop their knowledge of products and enhance their sales capabilities.
- Operational review Interact with intermediaries to evaluate their performance/ business generated by them and address any concerns which may be hampering business for Second Medic.
- Team Development Participate in the recruitment process to identify the right talent for various positions within the team.
- Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review the individual performance of the team.
- Guides the team with ideas on different approaches while doing agent recruitment to maximize sales revenue.
- Create development opportunities for the team to enhance functional knowledge and sales capabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Good communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Well-versed with MS Office.
- Should have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Should be aware of the Local language.
- Doctor Degree
